Every route to a GLP-1 weight-loss drug, priced from the maker's own page: the Wegovy pill and Foundayo from $149 a month, Zepbound vials from $299, the Wegovy pen at $349 and Wegovy HD at $399. Eligible Medicare members pay $50. One table, one chart, a page for each.
The prices, month by month:
Until 2026 the question was whether a GLP-1 weight-loss drug was affordable at all. Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly now publish self-pay prices on their own pharmacy pages, so the comparison is a matter of reading them side by side. The chart draws each route's lowest and highest dose price on one axis, and the table below gives the dose prices and what a month means for each.
| Route | Self-pay, per month | What a month is | Read | Detail page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wegovy pill | $149 to $299 | 1 bottle of 30 tablets | 31 Oct 2026 | Wegovy pill prices by dose |
| Foundayo (orforglipron) | $149 to $299 | 30 days, as Lilly defines a month | 30 Oct 2026 | Foundayo prices by dose |
| Zepbound single-dose vials | $299 to $449 | Monthly vial supply | 30 Oct 2026 | Zepbound vs Wegovy |
| Wegovy pen, 0.25 to 2.4 mg | $349 | 1 box of 4 pens | 31 Oct 2026 | Zepbound vs Wegovy |
| Wegovy HD, 7.2 mg | $399 | 1 box of 4 pens | 31 Oct 2026 | Wegovy HD price and trial |
| Medicare GLP-1 Bridge | $50 | One-month supply, 28 or 30 days | 31 Oct 2026 | Who qualifies |
The Zepbound $449 ceiling holds only when a vial prescription is refilled within 45 days; otherwise our Zepbound page lists $499 at 7.5 mg and $699 at 10 mg and above. LillyDirect returned a bot challenge when we tried to read it again on 31 October, so treat the Zepbound row as read on 30 October and confirm it on LillyDirect. Annual figures at the top of each range are twelve times the monthly price: $3,588 for the pills at the top dose, $5,388 for Zepbound vials at the ceiling, $4,788 for Wegovy HD.

How we built this page: we read NovoCare Pharmacy's Wegovy page on 31 October 2026 in a browser, using the Pill and Pen tabs and declining cookies; LillyDirect's Foundayo page and our own Zepbound page's LillyDirect figures from 30 October 2026; and Medicare.gov's GLP-1 Bridge page on 31 October 2026. Where a maker's page was unavailable (LillyDirect's Zepbound page returned a bot challenge) we kept the earlier read and said so. We bought nothing, and the differences and annual figures are our arithmetic. Prices change; this page is information about prices, not medical advice.
On the manufacturers' own self-pay pages we read on 30 and 31 October 2026, the lowest entry price is $149 a month, for the Wegovy pill at 1.5 mg and Foundayo at 0.8 mg. Both prices rise with the dose, to $299 at the top doses, and the cheapest ongoing injection price we read is Zepbound vials at $299 a month at 2.5 mg; the Wegovy pen's $199 intro price applies only to new patients for two fills.
Our Zepbound page, which read LillyDirect on 30 October 2026, lists single-dose vials at $299 a month at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 from 7.5 mg to 15 mg when refilled within 45 days. LillyDirect served a bot challenge when we tried again on 31 October, so confirm the current price there.
NovoCare lists the Wegovy pen at $349 a month for 0.25 to 2.4 mg and Wegovy HD 7.2 mg at $399, each a box of 4 pens, against $149 to $299 for the pill, a bottle of 30 tablets, read 31 October 2026.
Eligible Part D members can use the temporary Medicare GLP-1 Bridge for a $50 monthly copay for Wegovy, Zepbound in the KwikPen or Foundayo, from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2027. The clinical rules are on Medicare.gov and in our Bridge guide.
Not necessarily. NovoCare and LillyDirect both state that the programs can be modified or cancelled, and several prices are temporary: Foundayo's 2.5 and 5.5 mg prices are reduced through 31 December 2026, and the Wegovy pen intro price of $199 for new patients runs through the same date.
